विजयादशमी के शुभ अवसर पर हिंदू समाज के द्वारा बैरिया गोलंबर स्थित दुर्गा मंदिर में शस्त्र पूजन का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत शस्त्र पूजन के साथ आरंभ किया गया. इसके बाद लोगों के बीच शास्त्र वितरण किया गया इसके साथ ही समाज में उत्कृष्ट कार्य करने वालों को सम्मानित भी किया गया।
मौके पर हिंदूवादी नेता वैभव मिश्रा ने कहा कि विजयादशमी के अवसर पर शहर के तमाम हिंदू संगठनों ने एकजुट होकर दुर्गा मंदिर प्रांगण में शस्त्र पूजन समारोह आयोजित किया है. शस्त्र पूजन के बाद माता और बहनों के बीच कृपान वितरित किया गया है. इस संदेश के साथ की वे अधर्मी, जिहादियों से अपनी रक्षा करे और अधर्मीयों का सर्वनाश करें।
वही आचार्य चंद्र किशोर पाराशर ने कहा कि यह एक नई परंपरा है जो आज से हम लोग मुजफ्फरपुर में शुरुआत कर रहे हैं. इसका उद्देश्य है की हमारी बेटियां पराकर्मी बने और पराक्रम के आधार पर जो गैर सनातनी है, जो हिंदू विरोधी शक्तियां है, उनसे लड़े, और संघर्ष करे।
