दरभंगा फोरलेन मोड़ से लेकर मधौल होते हुए बायपास से सदातपुर फोरलेन तक शहर में रिंग रोड का निर्माण होगा। रिंग रोड निर्माण के लिए मुशहरी, कुढ़नी व कांटी अंचल के 38 गांव की जमीन का अधिग्रहण किया जाएगा। रिंग रोड के निर्माण को लेकर मुजफ्फरपुर एनएचएआई के प्रस्ताव पर रोड ट्रांसपोर्ट एंड हाईवे मंत्रालय ने अधिसूचना जारी कर दी है।
एनएचएआई की ओर से बताया गया है कि जमीन अधिग्रहण की कवायद शीघ्र शुरू की जाएगी। बुधवार को डीएम की अध्यक्षता में हुई प्रोजेक्ट माॅनिटरिंग कमेटी की बैठक में एनएचएआई के मुजफ्फरपुर पीडी ने कहा कि एनएचएआई की ओर से रिंग रोड निर्माण की अनुमति मिल गई है। शीघ्र इसका एस्टीमेट बनाया जाएगा। इस तरह कुल मिलाकर 17.5 किलोमीटर की दूरी में रिंग रोड का निर्माण होगा। बूढ़ी गंडक नदी पर रजवाड़ा के पास पुल निर्माण की संभावना है। इसके साथ ही मुजफ्फरपुर-बरौनी तथा मुजफ्फरपुर-सोनबरसा टू लेन को फोरलेन बनाने की भी मंजूरी मिल चुकी है। इसका डीपीआर बन रहा है।
बाइपास से जुड़ेगी रिंग रोड
मधौल से दिघरा तक करीब 5 किलोमीटर तथा दिघरा से रोहुआ होते हुए पुनास चतुरी होते हुए दरभंगा फोरलेन के बखरी चौक तक करीब 11 किलोमीटर की दूरी में रिंग रोड का निर्माण होगा। इसके अतिरिक्त मुजफ्फरपुर बायपास से सदातपुर में फोरलेन में मिलाने के लिए करीब डेढ़ किलोमीटर की दूरी में रिंग रोड का निर्माण प्रस्तावित है। यानी रिंग रोड की कुल लंबाई 17.5 किमी होगी।

रघुनाथपुर जगदीश, रोहुआ बीरनारायण, भटौलिया उर्फ शाहजहांपुर, रोहुआ राजाराम, मुशहरी उर्फ राधानगर, रोहुआ आपुच, कोठिया दाखिली, हसनचक, चक अहमद, (मुशहरी अंचल), मोहम्मदपुर मोबारक, चकभिक्खी, विशुनपुर गिद्धा, माधोपुर सुस्ता, मधौल, खबरा उर्फ किरतपुर, मादापुर रैनी (कुढ़नी अंचल), चिकनौटा उर्फ हरपुर, शाहपुर, बारमतपुर तथा सदातपुर (कांटी अंचल)।
