पश्चिम बंगाल की मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी ने शुक्रवार को एक बड़ा ऐलान करते हुए कहा कि एक जून से राज्य में सभी धार्मिक स्थल जैसे, मंदिर, मस्जिद और गुरुद्वारा खोल दिए जाएंगे. मालूम हो कि कोरोनावायरस लॉकडाउन के कारण देश भर में सभी धार्मिक स्थलों को बंद कर दिया गया था. ममता बनर्जी ने मीडिया को ब्रीफ करते हुए कहा, “सभी पूजा स्थल, मंदिर, मस्जिद, गुरुद्वारा खुलेंगे, लेकिन एक समय पर 10 से अधिक लोगों को अनुमति नहीं दी जाएगी, धार्मिक स्थलों पर कोई सभा नहीं होगी. हाल ही में हुई बैठक में केंद्र ने रियायतें देने का फैसला राज्या सरकारों पर छोड़ दिया था. इसी कड़ी में अब पश्चिम बंगाल सरकार ने ये फैसला लिया है.
इससे पहले कर्नाटक सरकार ने मंदिर खोलने के आदेश दिए थे. वो भी तब जब राज्य में 2000 से ऊपर मामले पहुंच चुके हैं. मंदिरों को खोलने की मांग के साथ हिन्दू कार्यकर्ताओं ने राज्य के मदुरै और तिरूचि में प्रदर्शन किया था. उनका कहना था कि सरकार अब मंदिरों को खोलने की इजाजत दे.
कर्नाटक सरकार ने 1 जून से मंदिरों को खोलने का निर्णय लिया है. हालांकि, इस दौरान सोशल डिस्टेंसिंग का पालन करना जरूरी होगा. मंदिरों के पुजारी और भक्त दोनों ही लगातार मंदिर खोलने की मांग कर रहे थे. कर्नाटक में करीब 34,500 मंदिर 1 जून से भक्तों के लिए खुल जाएंगे.
