Removal or demolition of Sunehri Bagh masjid is unconstitutional as it is notified by Government of Union Territory of Delhi under the Bylaws legislated to grant it a Heritage Status :: Mohammad Ishteyaque.

All India Muslim Majlis e Mushawarat , the federal body of prominent Muslim organisations and individuals that was launched in 1964, registered its strongest objections and condemn the move of NDMC and or all other departments on whose suggestions the NDMC wish to demolish the Sunehri Bagh masjid on the pretext of regulating traffic and beautification for public delights.

The proposal of NDMC to demolish the Sunehri Bagh Masjid is not only problematic for a number of reasons but seems to be unfortunately wishfully taken with a pre-planned conspiracy to erase and eradicate the signs of Islamic heritage and monuments, which stands for the centuries in Delhi.
All India Muslim Majlis e Mushawarat national president Adv Feroz Ahmad and District secretary and State member of Bihar Mohammad Ishteyaque written a letter and mailed it to Chief Architect NDMC and registered a strong advocacy in this regard .

Sunhari Bagh masjid is a heritage building listed as a Grade ।।। in Unified Building ByeLaws ….. For conservation and development to protect the building granting it a Heritage status. How such a heritage symbol will be remove or demolish….?? It is against the nature and purpose of the laws that is incorporated for . It is totally unmindful and draconian … to remove or demolish the heritage building in the name of luxury and beautification for public’s delight at the cost of cultural and monumental importance of History of India.
