मुजफ्फरपुर, पूरे 10 दिनों तक मां की पूजा अर्चना करने के बाद रविवार को मां की विदाई का वक्त आया. पूजा समितियों ने ढोल नागाड़े के साथ विसर्जन जुलूस निकाल अखाड़ा घाट पुल पहुंची. जहां से उन्हें गंडक नदी में माता की प्रतिमा को विसर्जन करना था. लेकिन पुलिस प्रशासन की तरफ से उन्हें अखाड़ाघाट पुल से विसर्जन करने से रोक दिया गया।
जिला प्रशासन की तरफ से दादर पुल के पास कृत्रिम घाट बनाकर माता की प्रतिमा विसर्जन करने का खाका तैयार किया गया है. प्रशासन का दावा है कि कृत्रिम घाट में विसर्जन करने से जहां नदिया स्वच्छ रहेगी. वहीं किसी तरह की अनहोनी से पूजा समितियां बच सकेगी।
जिला प्रशासन की तरफ से तैयार किए गए कृत्रिम घाट में जहां छोटे-मोटे पूजा समितियां ने सहर्ष स्वीकृति से मूर्तियों का विसर्जन किया. वहीं जो समितियां भव्य रूप से दुर्गा पूजा का आयोजन करती है. जिनकी मूर्तियां विशाल है वह कृतिम घाट में मां की प्रतिमा विसर्जित करने से परहेज करने लगे.
पूजा समितियां का कहना था कि उन्होंने बड़े श्रद्धा पूर्वक 10 दिनों तक मां की पूजा अर्चना की है और अब जब उनके विसर्जन का समय आया है तो उन्हें हम किसी गंदे नाली में हम प्रवाहित नहीं कर सकते हैं. इसी बात को लेकर काफी देर तक पूजा समितियां और प्रशासन में बकझक की स्थिति रही।
पुलिस प्रशासन के नहीं मानने के बाद कई पूजा समितियां ने अपनी मूर्तियां अखाड़ा घाट पुल से वापस मोड ली. उन्होंने कहा कि वह अब अपनी मूर्तियों का विसर्जन पडाव पोखर मे करेंगे. बता दे की मुजफ्फरपुर के इतिहास में ऐसा पहली बार हो रहा है जब विसर्जन को लेकर निकाली गई मां की प्रतिमा अखाड़ा घाट पुल से बिना विसर्जन के ही वापस लौट गई।
