मुजफ्फरपुर, अंतर्राष्ट्रीय माहवारी स्वच्छता दिवस के अवसर पर प्रभारी जिलाधिकारी आशुतोष द्विवेदी के मार्गदर्शन में माहवारी स्वच्छता जागरूकता रैली सह हस्ताक्षर अभियान का आयोजन किया गया।
जिसमें माहवारी को स्वच्छता से जोड़ते हुये उपस्थित सभी महिलाओं और बेटियों को लाल रंग मेरा अभिमान यह सोच रख कर तिलक लगाकर उनका सम्मान किया गया और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय माहवारी दिवस की बधाई दी गई।
समाहरणालय से शुरू इस जागरूकता रैली को प्रभारी जिलाधिकारी आशुतोष द्विवेदी ने हरी झंडी दिखाकर रवाना किया. समाहरणालय से शुरू हो कर ये रैली शहीद खुद्दी राम बोस स्टेडियम पर जा कर समाप्त हुई।
रैली में जिला प्रशासन, यूनिसेफ, महिला एवं बाल विकास विभाग और जीविका के सहयोग से महिलाओं और किशोरियों के बीच निकाली गई रैली में मासिक धर्म स्वच्छता जागरूकता अभियान से जुड़े बैनर पोस्टर के माध्यम से माहवारी पर चुप्पी तोड़ो, स्वस्थ जीवन से नाता जोड़ो।’ ‘मां बनने पर गर्व है फिर माहवारी पर क्यों शर्म है।’ ‘पीरियड का खून नहीं तुम्हारी सोच गंदी है।’ जैसे नारे लगा रही थीं।
सभी के हाथों में पोस्टर भी थे जिन पर माहवारी स्वच्छता पर स्लोगन लिखे थे। प्रभारी जिलाधिकारी आशुतोष द्विवेदी ने बताया कि माहवारी एक स्वाभाविक प्रक्रिया है। इसको लेकर महिला या किशोरियों को अपवित्र मानने और धार्मिक अनुष्ठानों से दूर रखने की समाज की अवधारणा को बदलने की आवश्यकता है।
मौके पर डीपीओ आईसीडीएस डीपीएम जीविका,उप निर्वाचन पदाधिकारी,डीपीआरओ, सुषमा सुमन जन प्रतिनिधि के पी पप्पू सहित अन्य उपस्थित थे।
