पंचायत चुनाव के पहले चरण के नामांकन प्रक्रिया बुधवार को समाप्त हो गई्. पहले चरण का मतदान 24 सितंबर को होना है. पहले चरण के लिए 2 सितंबर से नामांकन प्रक्रिया शुरु हुई थी. इसमें 10 जिलों के 12 प्रखंडों की 159 पंचायतों के विभिन्न पदों के लिए नामांकन दाखिल किए गए. इस दौरान 15,328 नामांकन हुए हैं. इसमें 7,235 पुरुष और 8,093 महिला उम्मीदवार शामिल हैं.
छह पदों के लिए हो रहे चुनाव में सबसे अधिक 8,611 नामांकन 2,233 ग्राम पंचायत सदस्य पद के लिए हुए हैं. मुखिया के 151 पदों के लिए 1294 नामांकन हुए. पंचायत समिति सदस्य के लिए 1205, जिला परिषद सदस्य 221, पंच के लिए 3225 और सरपंच के लिए 772 नामांकन दाखिल हुए हैं. सबसे अधिक 3,542 नामांकन गया में हुए हैं. उसके बाद बांका में 2,203 नामांकन हुए हैं. पहले चरण का मतदान 24 सितंबर को होगा. 11 सितंबर तक नामांकन पत्रों की जांच होगी. 13 सितंबर तक अपना नामांकन पत्र वापस लिया जा सकता है. इसके बाद बचे सभी प्रत्याशियों को प्रतीक चिन्ह आवंटित किया जाएगा.
पहले चरण में रोहतास के दावथ व संझौली प्रखंड, कैमूर के कुदरा प्रखंड, गया के बेलागंज व खिजरसराय प्रखंड, नवादा के गोविंदपुर प्रखंड, औरंगाबाद के औरंगाबाद प्रखंड, जहानाबाद के काको प्रखंड, अरवल के सोनभद्र-बंशी-सूर्यपुर प्रखंड, मुंगेर के तारापुर प्रखंड, जमुई के सिकंदरा प्रखंड एवं बांका के धोरैया प्रखंड में चुनाव होगा.
148 अभ्यर्थियों ने किया ऑनलाइन आवेदन
कोरोना को देखते हुए इस दफा राज्य निर्वाचन आयोग ने ऑफलाइन के साथ ऑनलाइन आवेदन करने की भी सुविधा प्रत्याशियों को दी थी. इसके बाबजूद 1 फीसदी से भी कम उम्मीदवारों ने ऑनलाइन आवेदन किए हैं. पहले चरण में 4,985 पदों के लिए महज 148 अभ्यर्थियों ने ऑनलाइन आवेदन किया.
