बिहार के समस्तीपुर में कोलकाता-दरभंगा ट्रेन (Kolkata-Darbhanga Train) की एस1 बोगी के निचले हिस्से में आग लगने से हड़कंप मच गया है. इस घटना के बाद यात्रियों ने दलसिंहसराय स्टेशन पर वैक्यूम कर ट्रेन को रोका. जबकि आग लगने से यात्रियों में अफरा तफरी मच गई है. हालांकि आग पर फायर सेफ्टी से काबू पा लिया गया है और इसमें जानमाल का कोई नुकसान नहीं हुआ है. वहीं, रेल अधिकारी मौके पर पहुंचकर जांच पड़ताल में जुट गए हैं. इस समय कोलकाता-दरभंगा ट्रेन दलसिंहसराय स्टेशन पर रुकी हुई है.
जानकारी के अनुसार, कोलकता से दरभंगा जा रही कोलकाता-दरभंगा ट्रेन (05233) में दलसिंहसराय रेलवे स्टेशन से कुछ दूर पहले भटगमा गांव के पास ग्रामीणों ने धुआं और चिंगारी देखकर शोर मचाना शुरू किया था. इसके साथ ही कुछ यात्रियों और ट्रेन के गार्ड की नजर भी इस पर पड़ी. इसके बाद ट्रेन को दलसिंहसराय स्टेशन पर रोकर बोगी से सभी यात्रियों को निकाल कर चिंगारी पर काबू पाया गया.
इस घटना की सूचना मिलने के बाद स्थानीय थाने की पुलिस थानाध्यक्ष प्रवीण कुमार मिश्र के नेतृत्व में मौके पर पहुंची. इसके साथ अग्निशमन की टीम भी स्टेशन पहुंच गई थी.बता दें कि स्मोक को खत्म करने के बाद ट्रेन को रवाना कर दिया गया है.
