तीसरे चरण के पैक्स चुनाव के तहत जिले में मरवन, सरैया, पारु एवं कुढ़नी प्रखंड में स्वतंत्र, निष्पक्ष एवं शांतिपूर्ण मतदान संपन्न हुआ। कहीं भी कोई अप्रिय वारदात नहीं हुआ। सभी जगहों पर मजिस्ट्रेट, पुलिस पदाधिकारी एवं पुलिस बल अपनी अपनी ड्यूटी पर तैनात रहे तथा लगातार मॉनिटरिंग की गई।
मतदान में मरवन में 59%, सरैया में 53%, पारू में 56%, कुढ़नी में 57% वोटिंग हुआ। औसत 56% मतदान हुआ है। तीसरे चरण के मतों की गिनती संबंधित प्रखंड मुख्यालय में कड़ी सुरक्षा व्यवस्था के बीच कल सुबह 8 बजे से शुरू होगा।
जिलाधिकारी एवं वरीय पुलिस अधीक्षक ने संयुक्तादेश जारी कर विधि व्यवस्था संधारित रखने एवं शांतिपूर्ण मतगणना संपन्न कराने के लिए बज्रगृह, मतगणना स्थल एवं मतगणना परिसर में पर्याप्त संख्या में दंडाधिकारी, पुलिस पदाधिकारी की तैनाती की है एवं सभी अधिकारियों को सक्रिय एवं तत्पर रहकर विधि व्यवस्था संधारित रखने तथा स्वच्छ, निष्पक्ष एवं शांतिपूर्ण मतगणना संपन्न कराने का सख्त निर्देश दिया है।
प्रवेश द्वार पर ही व्यक्तियों की कड़ाई से जांच की जाएगी, मतगणना परिसर में अनधिकृत व्यक्तियों का प्रवेश वर्जित रहेगा, केवल अनुमान्य व्यक्तियों का ही प्रवेश सुनिश्चित करने का निर्देश दिया गया है। किसी प्रकार का शस्त्र, घातक हथियार, धूम्रपान सामग्री, माचिस, मोबाइल फोन इत्यादि मतगणना परिसर में ले जाने पर पूर्णत: प्रतिबंध है।
संबंधित सभी थानाध्यक्ष को मतगणना की स्थिति पर निगरानी रखने तथा शांति एवं विधि व्यवस्था बनाए रखने के लिए सघन गश्ती करने का निर्देश दिया गया है।मतगणना के पश्चात किसी भी प्रकार के जुलूस की अनुमति नहीं दी जाएगी। इसका अनुपालन दृढ़ता पूर्वक सुनिश्चित करने का निर्देश दिया गया है।
अनुमंडल पदाधिकारी पश्चिमी एवं संबंधित अनुमंडल पुलिस पदाधिकारी अपने क्षेत्र में विधि व्यवस्था के संपूर्ण प्रभार में रहेंगे। उन्हें अपने क्षेत्र में अवस्थित सभी मतगणना स्थल पर अनुश्रवण करते रहने, शांतिपूर्ण मतगणना एवं विधि व्यवस्था बनाये रखने का निर्देश दिया गया है।
