मुजफ्फरपुर, राज्य के पूर्व मंत्री अजीत कुमार शुक्रवार को मनियारी थाना क्षेत्र के मारीपुर गांव पहुंचकर पत्रकार स्वर्गीय शिव शंकर झा के परिजनों से मिले । शोक संतप्त परिवार को ढांढस बंधाया एवं प्रशासन से हत्या में संलिप्त मूल अपराधी को खोज निकालने की मांग की।
इस मौके पर शोक संवेदना व्यक्त करते हुए अजीत कुमार ने मृतक शिव शंकर झा की आत्मा को शांति एवं शोकाकुल परिवार को धैर्य धारण करने के लिए ईश्वर से प्रार्थना किया। उन्होंने कहा कि स्वर्गीय शिव शंकर झा के असामायीक निधन से समाज मर्माहत है। हम सब उनके चरणों में श्रद्धा सुमन अर्पित करते हैं। इस अवसर पर अजीत कुमार ने इस हत्या के मामले का गहराई से अनुसंधान करने की मांग पुलिस प्रशासन से किया।
अजीत कुमार ने स्वर्गीय शिव शंकर के दो बच्चों को पढ़ने लिखने के लिए अपनी ओर से बीस हजार रुपया का आर्थिक सहायता भी किया। साथ ही भविष्य में परिवार हर संभव मदद करने का परीजनों को भरोसा दिलाया।
अजीत कुमार के अलावा श्रद्धा सुमन अर्पित करने वालों में मुखिया इंद्र मोहन झा, प्रमोद कुमार शर्मा, रणधीर कुमार सिंह, साकेत रमन पांडे आदी प्रमुख थे।
