मुजफ्फरपुर स्मार्ट सिटी लिमिटेड अंतर्गत फेस लिफ्टिंग एवं सीवरेज परियोजना के तहत कंपनीबाग सड़क स्थित प्रमंडलीय आयुक्त कार्यालय के समीप नाला निर्माण एवं सीवरेज का कार्य कराया गया था। विगत वर्ष 2023 में उक्त स्थान पर वाटर सप्लाई लीकेज होने के कारण सड़क धंस गया था। 17 दिसंबर 2024 को पुनः उक्त स्थल पर सड़क धंसने की घटना घटित हुई है। उपमुख्यमंत्री ने इस घटना को गंभीरता से लेते हुए जांच का आदेश दिया है।
आदेश के अनुपालन में नगर आयुक्त- सह- प्रबंध निदेशक, मुजफ्फरपुर स्मार्ट सिटी लिमिटेड ने पांच सदस्यीय जांच टीम का गठन कर एक सप्ताह के भीतर प्रतिवेदन उपलब्ध कराने का निर्देश दिया है। कमेटी के सदस्यों को योजना की गुणवत्ता की जांच करने तथा सड़क धंसने की घटना के कारणों की गहन समीक्षा कर रिपोर्ट देने का निर्देश दिया है। जांच रिपोर्ट प्राप्त होने के उपरांत उपमुख्यमंत्री को अवगत कराया जाएगा तथा नियमानुसार अग्रेत्तर कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
जांच टीम में निम्न सदस्यों को शामिल किया गया है-
1/कार्यपालक अभियंता,नगर निगम मुजफ्फरपुर।
2/कार्यपालक अभियंता पथ निर्माण विभाग, पथ प्रमंडल संख्या -1, मुजफ्फरपुर
3/ कार्यपालक अभियंता लोक स्वास्थ्य अभियंत्रण विभाग, मुजफ्फरपुर
4/श्री रविशंकर प्रसाद,उप नगर आयुक्त,नगर निगम, मुजफ्फरपुर
5/वरीय तकनीकी प्रबंधक, स्मार्ट सिटी लिमिटेड, मुजफ्फरपुर।
