मुजफ्फरपुर :- जिले के चर्चित किडनी कांड मामले में पीड़िता सुनीता की मौत के बाद राष्ट्रीय मानवाधिकार आयोग में अवमानना वाद दायर किया गया है। यह वाद मानवाधिकार मामलों के अधिवक्ता एस. के. झा के द्वारा दायर कराया गया है। अधिवक्ता श्री झा ने कहा कि बिहार सरकार मानवाधिकार के प्रति सजग नहीं है। सुनीता की मौत सिर्फ-और-सिर्फ बिहार सरकार की लापरवाही का नतीजा है। माननीय आयोग के द्वारा बिहार सरकार को आदेश दिया गया था कि उच्च प्राथमिकता के आधार पर बिहार सरकार, पीड़िता सुनीता को किडनी प्रत्यारोपित करने की दिशा में कदम उठाये। लेकिन माननीय आयोग द्वारा दिए गये आदेश का पालन बिहार सरकार के द्वारा नहीं किया गया, जिस कारण सुनीता को अपनी जान गँवानी पड़ी।
विदित हो कि चर्चित किडनी कांड की पीड़िता सुनीता की मौत 21 अक्टूबर को हो गई। माननीय आयोग के द्वारा बिहार सरकार को आदेश दिया गया था कि उच्च प्राथमिकता के आधार पर बिहार सरकार, पीड़िता सुनीता को किडनी प्रत्यारोपित करने की दिशा में कदम उठाये, लेकिन बिहार सरकार द्वारा किडनी प्रत्यारोपित करने की दिशा में कोई ठोस सकारात्मक कार्रवाई नहीं की गई। अगर माननीय आयोग के द्वारा पारित निर्णय का अनुपालन बिहार सरकार के द्वारा किया जाता तो पीड़िता सुनीता का बचाया जा सकता था।
