भारत के पूर्व मुख्य न्यायाधीश डॉ के जी बालाकृष्णन और इंटरनेशनल काउंसिल ऑफ़ जूरिस्ट के अध्यक्ष डॉ आदिश.सी. अग्रवाल के हाथों प्रोफेसर जयंत को यह पुरस्कार कानूनी शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में गहरा लगाव और समर्पित योगदान के लिए दिया गया है। उनकी इस उपलब्धि से कानून के शिक्षकों, छात्रों एवं विश्वविद्यालय में खुशी की लहर है। बीआर अंबेडकर बिहार विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति डॉ दिनेश चंद्र राय ने हर्ष व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि प्रोफेसर जयंत कुमार को लंदन में कानून के क्षेत्र में विशेष उपलब्धि के लिए अंतरराष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया जाना शिक्षा जगत के लिए गौरव की बात है।
