रामदयालु सिंह महाविद्यालय ने आज अपना 76 वर्ष पूरा किया. स्थापना दिवस समारोह के अवसर पर कॉलेज मे रंगारंग कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया. बिहार गीत, पारिवारिक समस्याओं को लेकर नाटक, भाग दौड़ की जिंदगी पर नाटिका, माइम, समूह गीत की प्रस्तुति की गई। लोक परंपराओं और आधुनिक परंपराओं को लेकर प्रस्तुति ने सबों का मन मोह लिया।
कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता करते हुए कुलपति डॉ दिनेश चंद्र राय ने कहा कि रामदयालु सिंह महाविद्यालय का गौरवशाली इतिहास रहा है। 76 वर्षों के दौरान कॉलेज ने एकेडमिक ऊंचाई को प्राप्त किया है। उन्होंने इसके लिए पूर्व के प्राचार्य को भी धन्यवाद दिया। बताया कि बहुत ही कम समय में प्राचार्य डॉ अनिता सिंह ने कॉलेज की बेहतरी के लिए काफी काम किया। विश्वविद्यालय से उन्हें लगातार सहयोग मिलता रहेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि रामदयालु बाबू ने जिस शिद्दत से कॉलेज को सींचा है, उसे बचाना है और आगे बढ़ाना है। कॉलेज की स्थापना काल में जितने लोगों ने योगदान दिया है उन लोगों को हार्दिक नमन है।
आगे उन्होंने कहा कि विश्वविद्यालय की संस्कृति में बदलाव हो रहा है। घूस और भ्रष्टाचार पर नकेल कसी जाएगी। जल्द ही लंबित प्रमोशन और गेस्ट टीचर का ऱिनूअल हो जाएगा। इसके लिए पारदर्शिता बरती जा रही है। कॉलेज के पास प्राकृतिक तालाब है इसे और सुंदर बनाने की जरूरत है। विश्वविद्यालय सबों के प्रयास से ए ग्रेड प्राप्त करेगा और बिहार का सर्वोत्तम विश्वविद्यालय बनकर रहेगा।
मुजफ्फरपुर भाजपा जिलाध्यक्ष रंजन कुमार ने कॉलेज के छात्र-छात्राओं को उत्साहित करते हुए कहा कि वे पढ़ाई मन से करें, इस कॉलेज के प्रतिभावान शिक्षक उन्हें करियर की ऊंचाई तक प्राप्त करने में मदद करेंगे। कॉलेज के स्वर्णिम इतिहास को हमेशा बचाकर रखना है।
प्राचार्य डॉ अनिता सिंह ने आगत अतिथियों का स्वागत किया और कॉलेज के संक्षिप्त इतिहास और विकास के रोड मैप पर प्रकाश डाला। कहा कि एक साल के अंदर कॉलेज के सर्वांगीण विकास में कोई कसर नहीं छोड़ा जाएगा।
विज्ञान, कला एवं वाणिज्य के पिछले वर्ष के 35 टॉपर्स को एकेडमिक एक्सीलेंस अवार्ड से नवाजा गया। प्रमाण पत्र एवं मेडल देकर कुलपति द्वारा सम्मानित किया गया। सभी टॉपर्स को 2100 रुपए की राशि एक कार्यक्रम का आयोजन कर प्रदान की जाएगी।
कॉलेज में कुलपति द्वारा पांच नवनिर्मित स्मार्ट क्लास का उद्घाटन किया। रिटायर्ड शिक्षकों में डॉ के के सिन्हा, डॉ के के झा, प्रो भारती सिंहा, प्रो नागेश्वर शर्मा, डॉ अरुण कुमार सिंह, डॉ बीके आजाद मौजूद रहे।
इस अवसर पर वार्षिक कॉलेज की पत्रिका “वर्तिका” का विमोचन किया गया। संपादक डॉ रमेश प्रसाद गुप्ता ने पत्रिका में संकलित आलेख का संक्षिप्त परिचय दिया और कॉलेज के स्वर्णिम में इतिहास पर प्रकाश डाला।
इस अवसर पर कॉलेज के पदाधिकारी, शहर के समाजसेवी, साहित्यकार, विभिन्न कॉलेज के प्राचार्य, वार्ड पार्षद, स्थानीय निवासी, अभिभावक गण, छात्र एवं छात्राएं उपस्थित थे।
