मुजफ्फरपुर, जिले की पुलिस को एक बार फिर से बड़ी कामयाबी हाथ लगी है. पुलिस ने गुप्त सूचना के आधार पर कार्रवाई करते हुए एक मिनी गन फैक्ट्री का उधभेदन किया है. इस छापेमारी में पुलिस ने तीन अपराधियों की गिरफ़्तारी भी की है. इसमें महादेव ठाकुर पूर्व में भी अवैध आर्म्स मामले में जेल जा चूका है.
मामले की जानकारी वरीय पुलिस अधीक्षक जयंत कांत ने प्रेस कांफ्रेंस के दौरान दी. जयंत कांत ने बताया की शनिवार को पुलिस को गुप्त सूचना मिली थी कि मोतीपुर थाना अंतर्गत रतनपुरा गांव में मिनी गन फैक्ट्री का संचालन किया जा रहा है. जिसमे अवैध हथियारों का निर्माण हो रहा है. सूचना के आधार पर पुलिस ने कार्रवाई करते हुए रतनपुरा गांव में महादेव ठाकुर के घर पर छापामारी की गई जिसमें भारी मात्रा में अवैध आर्म्स, कारतूस और आर्म्स बनाने का मशीन बरामद किया गया.
