मुजफ्फरपुर, जिले मे बढ़ते अपराध के बीच पुलिस ने विदेशी शराब की एक बड़ी खेप पकड़ी है. एक ट्रक, एक पिकअप वैन, और दो शराब तस्करों को भी गिरफ्तार किया गया है. जप्त शराब की कीमत लगभग 20 लाख रूपये आँकी जा रही है।
दरअसल जिला पुलिस लगातार शराब तस्करों के खिलाफ अभियान चला रही है इसी दौरान शनिवार की देर शाम अहियापुर थाना की पुलिस को गुप्त सुचना मिली की दादर चौक के पास एक ट्रक मे भारी मात्रा मे विदेशी शराब छुपा कर रखी हुई है. सुचना प्राप्त होते ही एसडीपीओ नगर- 2 विनीता सिन्हा के निर्देशन मे एक विशेष टीम का गठन कर उक्त स्थल पर छापेमारी की गई. इस छापेमारी दल का नेतृत्व अहियापुर थाना प्रभारी रोहन कुमार ने किया।
टीम जब छापेमारी करने पहुंची तब ट्रक से शराब की अनलॉडिंग एक पिकअप वैन पर की जा रही थी. पुलिस को देखते ही बाकि लोग भाग निकले वही पुलिस ने मौके से दो शराब तस्कर को गिरफ्तार कर लिया. जिनकी पहचान करजा थाना क्षेत्र के महमदपुर खाजे निवासी रणधीर कुमार और कुढ़नी थाना क्षेत्र के विशनपुर मोहनी निवासी मुकेश राय के रूप में हुई है। वही पुलिस ने मौके से उक्त ट्रक और पिकअप वैन को भी जप्त कर थाने पर ले आई।
जप्त शराब की जब गिनती की गई तो कुल 1173 लीटर 150 कार्टन विदेशी शराब बरामद हुई. जिसकी अनुमानित कीमत 20 लाख रूपये आँकी जा रही है. मामले की पुस्टि करते हुए एसडीपीओ नगर- 2 विनीता सिन्हा ने बताया की गुप्त सुचना मिली थी की दादर पुलिस लाईन चौक के पास के पास भारी मात्रा मे शराब छुपाकर लाई गई है. जिसके बाद यह कार्रवाई की गई है. मौके से दो तस्करों को भी गिरफ्तार किया गया है जिससे पूछताछ के आधार पर गिरोह के अन्य सदस्यों का पता लगाने का प्रयास किया जा रहा है. अहियापुर थाने में मामला दर्ज कर आगे की कार्रवाई की जा रही है।
