मुजफ्फरपुर पुलिस ने शातिर अपराधी शशांक राज उर्फ जॉनसन को बीती रात ब्रह्मपुरा थाना क्षेत्र से गिरफ्तार कर लिया है. शशांक राज उर्फ जॉनसन एक पेसेवर अपराधी है. इस पर एक दर्जन से ज्यादा आपराधिक मामले दर्ज है. पुलिस ने इसके पास से एक मोबाइल और एक बाइक जप्त किया है।
मामले की पुस्टि करते हुए सिटी एसपी विक्रम सुहाग ने बताया की पुलिस को गुप्त सुचना मिली थी की शातिर अपराधी शशांक राज उर्फ जॉनसन ब्राह्मपुरा थाना क्षेत्र से गुजरने वाला है. सूचना के आलोक में ब्राह्मपुरा थाना की पुलिस में जाल बिछाकार वाहन जांच अभियान चलाना शुरु कर दिया. इसी दौरान शशांक राज उर्फ जॉनसन वहा पहुंचा जिसे पुलिस ने गिरफ्तार कर लिया.
गिरफ्तार अपराधी शशांक राज उर्फ जॉनसन ब्रह्मपुरा थाना क्षेत्र के ही कृष्णा टोली वार्ड नंबर 2 का रहने वाला है. सिटी एसपी विक्रम सुहाग ने बताया कि गिरफ्तार अपराधी से पूछताछ की जा रही है वही उसके पास से एक मोबाइल और एक बाइक भी जप्त किया गया है. इस पर एक दर्जन से अधिक आपराधिक मामले दर्ज है.
पूछताछ के क्रम में शशांक राज उर्फ जॉनसन ने है यह बात स्वीकारी की 10 अगस्त की रात्रि में अपने तीन अन्य सहयोगियों के साथ मिलकर रंगदारी नहीं देने पर अनिल राय के घर पर चढ़कर गोलीबारी की घटना को अंजाम दिया था. वही यह भी बताया गया की 30 अगस्त की रात में चांदनी चौक पर एक ट्रक चालक से पैसा का मांग किया. ट्रक चालक जब पैसा नहीं दिया तो सीने में गोली मार कर उसकी हत्या कर दी थी।
सिटी एसपी विक्रम सुहाग ने बताया कि ये एक पेशेवर अपराधी है इसके विरूद्ध ब्रह्मपुरा थाना में लूट एवं रंगदारी के दर्जनों कांड दर्ज है। उल्लेखनीय है कि मुजफ्फरपुर पुलिस द्वारा कुख्यात / वांछित टॉप-10, टॉप-20 अपराधकर्मियों की सूची बनाई गई है जिनकी गिरफ्तारी हेतु जिला आसूचना इकाई तथा थाना की टीम द्वारा निरंतर कार्य / छापामारी किया जाता है। इसी अभियान के तहत शशांक उर्फ जौनसन की गिरफ्तारी हुई है। अग्रेतर कार्रवाई की जा रही है।
