बिहार के गोपालगंज में दिल दहला देने वाला मामला सामने आया है। पसंद के लड़के से शादी की जिद पर परिवार ने बेटी को खौफनाक मौत दी। बड़े पिता (ताऊ) और चाचा ने हाथ-पैर पकड़ा और पिता ने पहसुल (सब्जी काटने में उपयोग होता है) से गला रेत दिया। मां गुहार लगाती रही, बचाने की मिन्नतें करती रही, पर हत्यारों का दिल नहीं पसीजा। उन्होंने मां को भी पीटा। ऑनर किलिंग के बाद बेटी का शव घर के पास खेत में फेंक कर तीनों फरार हो गए। अब पुलिस मामला दर्ज कर आरोपियों की तलाश कर रही है।
ऑनर किलिंग का यह मामला गोपालगंज के कोटवा गांव का है। मां कलावती देवी ने बताया, ‘बेटी किरण (19) मशानथाना गांव के एक युवक से प्रेम करती थी। उसी से शादी करना चाहती थी। लड़का भी तैयार था, लेकिन किरण के पिता इंद्रदेव राम उसकी शादी कहीं और करना चाहते थे।’
मां ने बताया, ‘किरण ने अपने पसंद के लड़के से शादी की बात कही। परिवार को वह लड़का पसंद नहीं था। इस पर परिवार उसके खिलाफ हो गया। रविवार रात उसके पिता, उसके चाचा और बड़े पापा घर पहुंचे। सब उसको मारने-पीटने लगे। बेटी को बचाने आने पर मुझे भी पीटने लगे।’
किरण जान बचाने के लिए इधर-उधर भागने लगी। मां बेटी के जान की भीख मांगने लगी, लेकिन आरोपियों का दिल नहीं पसीजा। बेटी को पकड़ लिया। चाचा अमरदेव राम और बड़े पिता आराज्ञा राम ने हाथ-पैर पकड़ा और पिता ने गला रेत दिया। मौके पर ही किरण ने छटपटाते हुए दम तोड़ दिया। आरोपी शव को उठाकर घर के पास खेत में फेंककर फरार हो गए।
ऑनर किलिंग की सूचना पर सोमवार सुबह पुलिस गांव पहुंची। मां के बयान दर्ज किए और शव को पोस्टमॉर्टम के लिए भेजा। सदर SDPO (सब-डिवीजन पुलिस अफसर) संजीव कुमार ने जांच के बाद अपराधियों को गिरफ्तारी करने की बात कही है।
SDPO संजीव कुमार ने बताया, ‘जैसे ही पुलिस को सूचना मिली, मौके पर नगर इंस्पेक्टर ललन कुमार के नेतृत्व में जांच शुरू कर दी है। पुलिस की अब तक की जांच में सभी बातें साफ हो चुकी हैं। अपराधी भी जल्द पकड़े जाएंगे। लड़की कहीं और शादी करना चाहती थी और उसके घरवाले किसी और से शादी करना चाहते थे, इसी विवाद में हत्या की गई है।
