मुजफ्फरपुर, देश के प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के द्वारा सोमवार को जिले के कांटी रेलवे स्टेशन के पास 44 करोड रुपए के लागत से बनने वाले आरओबी का रिमोट से शिलान्यास किया गया। इस मौके पर उपस्थित राज्य के पूर्व मंत्री सह भाजपा के वरिष्ठ नेता अजीत कुमार ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के 10 वर्षों के कार्यकाल में देश के आम लोगों के हित में चलाए गए सभी कल्याणकारी योजनाओं की जानकारी आम लोगों को दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री ने समाज के अंतिम पायदान पर रहने वाले व्यक्ति को भी लाभ पहुंचाने का कार्य किया है जो काफी सराहनीय है। साथ ही उन्होंने आरओबी का शिलान्यास करने के लिए प्रधानमंत्री के प्रति आभार व्यक्त किया।
पूर्व मंत्री अजीत कुमार ने कहा कि वर्ष 2010 में वे बिहार विधानसभा के बजट सत्र के दौरान गैर सरकारी संकल्प के माध्यम से बिहार सरकार से मांग किया गया था कि बिहार सरकार कांटी रेलवे स्टेशन के पहले रेलवे गुमटी पर ओवरब्रिज का निर्माण कराए एवं गैर सरकारी संकल्प के आलोक में बिहार सरकार द्वारा केंद्र सरकार को कांटी रेलवे गुमटी पर ओवर ब्रिज बनाने का अनुशंसा वर्ष 2011 में किया गया था, जिसके आलोक में यह कार्रवाई हुई है। पूर्व मंत्री अजीत कुमार ने कहा कि लोकसभा चुनाव में फिर से पीएम नरेंद्र मोदी ही देश के प्रधानमंत्री बनेंगे वे देश में लगातार कीर्तिमान स्थापित कर रहे हैं और सभी वर्ग के लोगों के काम करके उनके मुरीद हो चुके हैं।
वही, स्थानीय चंडीगढ़ पब्लिक स्कूल रतनपुरा एवं नेशनल पब्लिक स्कूल कांटी के बच्चे को पेंटिंग एवं अन्य प्रतियोगिता में सफल बच्चों के बीच पूर्व मंत्री अजीत कुमार एवं रेलवे के अधिकारियों के द्वारा प्रतोषिक वितरण किया गया। इस मौके पर विनय वर्मा डीआरएम समस्तीपुर, एईएन ए .के. मिश्रा, आई. ओ. डवलू सौरभ कुमार, एन. के . सिंह, एजीएम एनटीपीसी, समेत स्थानीय समाजसेवी कृष्ण मुरारी झा, नगर परिषद के सभापति दिलीप कुमार , वार्ड आयुक्त अशोक चौधरी, पैक्स अध्यक्ष नंदकिशोर प्रसाद सिंह, अबोध वर्मा, भाजपा के मंडल अध्यक्ष अजय श्रीवास्तव, गणेश पासवान, नूनू मिश्रा, वार्ड पार्षद चंचल झा, नाथू पासवान, संगीता देवी व स्थानीय स्तर आम लोगों के साथ ही स्थानीय नगर निकाय एवं पंचायत के जनप्रतिनिधि भी बड़ी संख्या में उपस्थित थे।
