मोतिहारी. बिहार के पूर्वी चंपारण जिले के मोतिहारी (Motihari) में मारपीट के आरोपी को पकड़ने गयी पुलिस टीम पर ग्रामीणों ने हमला (Attack On Police) बोल दिया. इस हमला में दो थानेदार समेत आधा दर्जन पुलिसकर्मी जख्मी हुए हैं. घायलों को अरेराज अनुमंडलीय अस्पताल में भर्ती करवाया गया है. घटना अरेराज ओपी थाना क्षेत्र के नगर पंचायत के जनेरवा की है.
पुलिस ने इस संबंध में करवाई करते हुए दो लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया है. मिली जानकारी के मुताबिक मंगलवार की रात ओपी थाना, गोविंदगंज और मलाही पुलिस मारपीट के आरोपी को गिरफ्तार करने के लिए जनेरवा गयी थी. लेकिन यहां आरोपी के परिजनों ने पुलिस की टीम पर ईंट, पथर और लाठी-डंडे से हमला बोल दिया जिससे थाना अध्यक्ष सहित आधा दर्जन पुलिसकर्मी जख्मी हो गए.
अचानक किए गए हमले से पुलिसकर्मियों को संभलने का मौका नहीं मिला. वो किसी तरह वहां से जान बचा कर निकले. इस हमले में मलाही थाना प्रभारी संजय पाठक, ओपी प्रभारी कंचन भास्कर, महिला पुलिसकर्मी विनीता कुमारी समेत आधा दर्जन पुलिस वाले गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गए. सूचना मिलते ही अरेराज डीएसपी रंजन कुमार सहित कई थानों से फोर्स घटनास्थल पर पहुंचे. पुलिस हमलावरों की पहचान में जुट गई है.
ओपी अध्यक्ष कंचन भास्कर ने बताया कि मारपीट मामले के अभियुक्त सुरेश तिवारी, कृष्णा तिवारी पुलिस पर हमला करने के मामले में सूरज कुमार और मनीष कुमार को गिरफ्तार किया गया है. मामले में प्राथमिकी (एफआईआर) दर्ज कर आगे की कर्रवाई की जा रही है.
