मुजफ्फरपुर। मेजबान आरडीएस कॉलेज की टीम ने शानदार प्रदर्शन को बरकरार रखते हुए अंतर महाविद्यालय बैडमिंटन प्रतियोगिता में पुरुष वर्ग के खिताब पर कब्जा बरकरार रखा । बी आर ए बिहार विश्वविद्यालय के अंतर्गत आयोजित प्रतियोगिता के खिताबी मुकाबले में मेजबान टीम ने मुंशी सिंह कॉलेज मोतिहारी की टीम को एक तरफा मुकाबले में 3 – 0 से पराजित कर चैंपियनशिप पर कब्जा जमाया।
हालांकि महिला वर्ग में उसे हार का सामना करना पड़ा। एमडीडीएम कॉलेज की टीम ने मेजबान महिला टीम को सीधे गेम में 2 – 0 से हराकर खिताब पर कब्जा जमा लिया। विजेता और उप विजेता टीम को कॉलेज की प्राचार्या डॉ प्रो अनीता सिंह ने ट्रॉफी प्रदान की।
मौके पर अपने संबोधन में उन्होंने खेल की महत्ता को दर्शाते हुए खिलाड़ियों को प्रेरित किया कि अपने दिनचर्या में पढ़ाई के साथ-साथ खेल को भी महत्व दें। क्योंकि वर्तमान परिवेश में यह विद्या भी रोजगार का सशक्त माध्यम बन चुका है ।
पुरस्कार वितरण समारोह का संचालन आयोजन सचिव सह महा विद्यालय के क्रीडा निदेशक डॉ रवि शंकर कुमार ने किया। मौके पर ब्रसर डॉ सत्येंद्र प्रसाद सिंह ,एमडीडीएम कॉलेज के क्रीड़ा प्रभारी रामदुलार सिंह, जमुनी लाल कॉलेज हाजीपुर से डॉ रजनीश कुमार, देवचंद कॉलेज हाजीपुर से वैभव कुमार एवं श्याम नंदन कॉलेज से सनी श्रीवास्तव व रजनीश कुमार उपस्थित थे ।
इससे पहले पुरुष वर्ग के खिताबी मुकाबले में आरडीएस कॉलेज के समीर ने एकल मुकाबले में मुंशी सिंह कॉलेज के यश को 21 -19, 21- 2 से पराजित किया। जबकि दूसरे एकल में तबरेज ने कुशल को 21- 8, 21- 8 से पराजित कर मेजबान टीम को 2 – 0 की बढ़त दिलाई। पुनः युगल मुकाबले में तबरेज ने समीर के साथ खेलते हुए यश और कुशल की जोड़ी को 21 – 1, 21- 2 के आसान मुकाबले में पराजित कर मेजबान कॉलेज टीम को चैंपियनशिप दिला दी। महिला वर्ग के मुकाबले में एमडीडीएम कॉलेज की टीम ने मेजबान आरडीएस कॉलेज के खिलाफ खेलते हुए खिताबी मुकाबला अपने नाम कर ली।
एमडीडीएम की कामिनी ने श्रेया श्रुति को 21 – 11, 21 – 12 से पराजित कर टीम को बढ़त दिलाई जबकि बेस्ट ऑफ 3 के लिए दूसरे मुकाबले में कामिनी और पलक की जोड़ी ने श्रेया श्रुति और श्रावणी को 21-11 21 – 12 से पराजित कर चैंपियनशिप पर कब्जा जमा लिया । इससे पहले महिला वर्ग के सेमीफाइनल में आरडीएस कॉलेज की टीम ने देवचंद कॉलेज को 2 – 0 से और एमडीडीएम कॉलेज की टीम ने जमुनीलाल की टीम को 2 – 0 से हराकर फाइनल में प्रवेश किया था । प्रतियोगिता में निर्णायक की भूमिका नीरज कुमार, मधु कुंज, राहुल कुमार और जिज्ञासा ने निभाई।
प्रतियोगिता के दौरान खिलाड़ियों के लिए ग्रेडिंग ट्रायल मैच का भी आयोजन हुआ। जिसके आधार पर आठ खिलाड़ियों का चयन विशेष प्रशिक्षण कैंप के लिए किया गया। चयनित खिलाड़ी अंतर विश्वविद्यालय बैडमिंटन प्रतियोगिता में बिहार विश्वविद्यालय टीम का प्रतिनिधित्व करेंगे ।
