जानकारी के मुताबिक, गांव वालों के सहयोग से पुलिस ने तीन आरोपियों को हिरासत में ले लिया है. एएसपी वेस्ट सैयद इमरान मसूद ने कहा है कि तीनों से पूछताछ की जा रही है. परिजनों का कहना है कि कांड के आरोपी शराब के धंधेबाज हैं और दिन भर माधोपुर चौक पर शराब बेचने के लिए भटकते रहते थे.
परिजनों ने दुष्कर्म के बाद हत्या की आशंका जताई है. परिजनों से मिली जानकारी के मुताबिक, मंगलवार की शाम को युवती अपनी मां के साथ दवा लाने के लिए माधोपुर बाजार गयी थी. रास्ते में आरोपी दीपक, रंजीत सोनु और गणेश नें गन प्वाइंट पर युवति को अगवा कर लिया. परिजनों ने उसी दिन मनियारी थाने में इसकी रिपोर्ट दर्ज करवाई. उधर, कुढनी के चंद्रहट्टी में कदाने नदी में बुधवार को एक युवति का शव बरामद किया गया. उसकी पहचान नहीं हो पाई थी, क्योंकि युवती के चेहरे को डैमेज कर दिया गया था.
अगले दिन आशंका पर परिजनों ने एसकेएमसीएच जाकर शव को देखा तो कपड़े से युवति की पहचान हो गयी. उसके बाद कोहराम मच गया. पोस्टमार्टम के बाद शव को परिजनों के हवाले कर दिया गया. शाम को शव लेकर परिजन घर आ गये लेकिन गिरफ्तारी तक अंतिम संस्कार करने से इनकार कर दिया. सूचना मिलने पर मनियारी पुलिस गांव पहुंची तो परिजनों ने आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार करने की शर्त रख दी. परिजनों की मदद से पुलिस नें तीन आरोपी युवकों को हिरासत में ले लिया है. एएसपी वेस्ट सैयद इमरान मसूद ने कहा है कि तीनों पकड़े गए आरोपियों से पूछताछ की जा रही है. उन्होने बताया कि शव का चेहरा जला हुआ है, जिससे आशंका और बढ़ जाती है. मामले की गहनता से जांच की जा रही है.
