मुजफ्फरपुर, जिले की महिला थाना मे शनिवार शाम एक सनकी व्यक्ति ने चार पुलिस कर्मियों पर चाकू से वार कर दिया. हालांकि समय रहते उस पर काबू पा लिया गया और घायल पुलिस कर्मियों का प्राथमिक उपचार किया गया.
घटना के बारे मे मिली जानकारी के अनुसार शहर के कल्याणी चौक पर रंजीत कुमार का मकान है जिसे शराब पिने की लट लगी हुई है. जिस वजह से उसकी कलेक्टोरेट की नौकरी भी छूट गई. नौकरी जाने के बाद उसने अपना व्यवसाय करने के लिए सोची और पैसे के लिए पत्नी पर दवाव डालने लगा की वो अपने मायके से पैसा मांग कर उसे दे मना करने पर उसके साथ मारपीट करता था
शनिवार को भी किसी बात पर गुस्सा होकर पत्नी को रूम मे बंद कर बेल्ट से मार रहा था. जिसकी जानकारी आरोपित की पत्नी पुतुल के माता पिता को लगी तो पुतुल के पिता सोने लाल शाह ने थाने मे शिकायत दर्ज करवाई. पुलिस छानबीन करने जब आरोपित के आवास पर पहुंची तब भी वो पत्नी से मारपीट कर रहा था.
मौके वारदात से पुलिस उसे पकड़ कर महिला थाने ले आयी. जँहा पर काउन्सलिंग के दौरान थानाध्यक्ष नीरु कुमारी ने जब रंजीत से पूछा कि वो अपनी पत्नी की पिटाई क्यों करता है तो वह आगबबुला हो गया. गुस्से में रंजीत नें चाकू से पुलिस कर्मियों पर वार कर दिया जिससे महिला थाने में कुछ देर के लिए हंगामा हो गया. चाकू से हमले मे थानाध्यक्ष नीरु कुमारी समेत चार जवान घायल हो गये. एक पुरुष जवान को ज्यादा जख्म लगे हैं जिसे एक निजी अस्पताल में इलाज के लिए भर्ती कराया गया है. आवाज मिलने पर सैप के जवान दौड़े और जैसे तैसे सरफिरे रंजीत से चाकू छीना गया. पुलिस ने आरोपी रंजीत को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है.
