बिहार में जहरीली शराब का कहर थम नहीं रहा है. छपरा जिले में जहरीली शराब के चलते हुई मौतों का आंकड़ा अब 66 से बढ़कर 70 हो गया है. छपरा के अलावा सारण, सिवान और बेगूसराय में भी शराब के चलते मौतें हुई हैं. जहरीली शराब मामले की जांच के लिए एसआईटी गठित कर दी गई है. एक अतिरिक्त एसपी इस टीम का नेतृत्व करेंगे.
पुलिस अधीक्षक संतोष कुमार ने मीडिया को बताया कि एसआईटी में 31 पुलिस अफसरों को शामिल किया गया है. इसमें तीन डीएसपी स्तर के अधिकारी भी शामिल हैं. सारण के डीएम राजेश मीणा ने कहा कि पिछले 48 घंटों में जिले भर में छापेमारी कर 126 शराब व्यापारियों को पकड़ा गया है. 4000 लीटर से ज्यादा अवैध शराब भी जब्त की गई है. इस मामले में कुछ लोगों को गिरफ्तार की बात भी सामने आई है.
शराब से मौत पर नहीं मिलेगा मुआवजा: नीतीश
इधर, बिहार विधानसभा में बोलते हुए सीएम नीतीश कुमार ने कहा कि शराब से मौत होने पर किसी को भी मुआवजा नहीं दिया जाएगा. नीतीश ने एक बार फिर कहा कि शराब पियोगे तो मरोगे. उन्होंने कहा कि हम राष्ट्रपिता बापू के दिखाए रास्ते पर चल रहे हैं. दूसरे राज्यों में जहरीली शराब पीने से मौत हो रही हैं. बीजेपी ने शराबबंदी का समर्थन किया था.
विधानसभा में दिखा नीतीश कुमार का गुस्सा
इससे पहले बुधवार को भी बीजेपी ने इस मुद्दे पर विधानसभा में नीतीश सरकार को घेरा था. इस दौरान जहरीली शराब से मौत को लेकर विधानसभा में जमकर हंगामा हुआ. इसके बाद नीतीश कुमार को गुस्सा आ गया. वे बीजेपी पर आगबबूला होते नजर आए. नीतीश कुमार ने बीजेपी पर निशाना साधते हुए कहा कि आप सभी पहले शराबबंदी के पक्ष में थे. अब क्या हो गया है?
सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने तुरंत सुनवाई से किया इनकार
बिहार में जहरीली शराब पीने से हुई मौतों के मामले में सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने जल्द सुनवाई से इनकार कर दिया है. छपरा में हुईं मौतों के मामले में सुप्रीम कोर्ट में जनहित याचिका दायर की गई थी, जिसमें एसआईटी से जांच कराने और पीड़ितों को मुआवजा दिए जाने की मांग की गई थी.
