आज शनिवार 17 अक्टूबर से शारदीय नवरात्र का प्रारम्भ हो रहा है। इस बार माँ दुर्गा कई विशिष्ट योग-संयोग के साथ अश्व पर सवार होकर अपने मंडप में विराजमान होंगी। 58 साल बाद अमृत योग वर्षा हो रही है। नवरात्रि पर राजयोग, द्विपुष्कर योग, सिद्धियोग, सर्वार्थसिद्धि योग, सिद्धियोग और अमृत योग जैसे संयोगों का निर्माण हो रहा है। इस नवरात्रि दो शनिवार भी पड़ रहे हैं। कलश स्थापना को घटस्थापना भी कहते है. आज के दिन माँ के प्रथम रूप माँ शैलपुत्री के पूजन के साथ होगी नवरात्रि की घटस्थापना.

शुभ समय – सुबह 6:27 से 10:13 तक ( विद्यार्थियों के लिए अतिशुभ)
अभिजीत मुहूर्त – दोपहर 11:44 से 12:29 तक ( सर्वजन)
स्थिर लग्न ( वृश्चिक)- प्रात: 8.45 से 11 बजे तक ( शुभ चौघड़िया, व्यापारियों के लिए श्रेष्ठ)
नवरात्र: किसी तिथि का क्षय नहीं
प्रतिपदा – 17 अक्टूबर
द्वितीय – 18 अक्टूबर
तृतीया – 19 अक्टूबर
चतुर्थी – 20 अक्टूबर
पंचमी – 21 अक्टूबर
षष्टी – 22 अक्टूबर
सप्तमी – 23अक्टूबर
अष्टमी – 24 अक्टूबर
नवमी – 25 अक्टूबर
इन बातों का ध्यान रखें
इस बार शारदीय नवरात्र 17 से 25 अक्टूबर के बीच रहेंगे हालाँकि नवरात्र के नौ दिनों में कोई तिथि क्षय तो नहीं होगी लेकिन 25 तारिख को नवमी तिथि सुबह 7:41 पर ही समाप्त हो जाएगी। इसलिए नवमी और विजयदशमी (दशहरा) एक ही दिन होंगे।
