इस दौरान उनके साथ उनकी पार्टी के सभी विधायक भी मौजूद रहे। मांझी की पार्टी महागठबंधन से बाहर हो गई है। इसके बाद जीतन राम मांझी और उनके बेटे संतोष सुमन दिल्ली के लिए रवाना हो गए। वहां पर पार्टी के लिए नई संभावनाएं तलाशेंगे। इससे पहले आज हम पार्टी की राष्ट्रीय कार्यकारिणी की बैठक हुई। इसमें तय हुआ कि जीतन राम मांझी और उनके बेटे संतोष सुमन आज ही दिल्ली जाएंगे। वहां पर पार्टी के लिए संभावनाएं तलाशेंगे।
पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष संतोष सुमन ने थर्ड फ्रंट में जाने की संभावना भी जताई है। उनका कहना है कि 3-4 दिनों में बड़ा फैसला हो सकता है। जीतन राम मांझी ने बताया कि वे नई दिल्ली में कांग्रेस नेता राहुल गांधी के साथ-साथ बसपा के बड़े नेताओं से भी मुलाकात करेंगे। साथ ही एनडीए के नेताओं से भी मुलाकातें और बातें हो सकती हैं। जीतन राम मांझी ने दूसरे दलों के नेताओं से मुलाकात से भी इनकार नहीं किया है।
