मुख्यमंत्री कन्या विवाह योजना का लाभ ग्रामीण एवं शहरी दोनों ही क्षेत्रों के गरीब परिवारों की कन्या को मिलता है. विवाह के समय आर्थिक सहायता दी जाती है. योजना के अंतर्गत कन्या को 5000/- रुपये डीबीटी के माध्यम से भुगतान किया जाता है. इसका लाभ लेने के लिए अंचल पदाधिकारी द्वारा निर्गत आय प्रमाण पत्र (60,000/- रुपये से कम) अथवा गरीबी रेखा (बीपीएल) की प्रकाशित सूची होनी चाहिए. इसके अलावा सीओ व एसडीओ से निर्गत आवास प्रमाण पत्र या पासपोर्ट भूमि से संबंधित प्रमाण पत्र भी होना चाहिए. विवाह निबंधन प्रमाण पत्र (शहरी क्षेत्रों के लिए वार्ड पार्षद एवं ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों के लिए मुखिया) देंगे.
बाल संरक्षण समिति की हुई बैठक
मंगलवार को जिला बाल संरक्षण समिति सह चाइल्ड लाइन सलाहकार परिषद की बैठक में इन सभी योजनाओं पर विस्तार से चर्चा हुई. इसमें परवरिश, प्रयोजन, मुख्यमंत्री कन्या विवाह योजना, बाल सहायता योजना पर्यवेक्षण गृह, बाल गृह आदि शामिल हैं. बताया गया कि मुख्यमंत्री कन्या विवाह योजना का लाभ ग्रामीण एवं शहरी दोनों ही क्षेत्रों के गरीब परिवारों की कन्या को विवाह के समय आर्थिक सहायता प्रदान की जाती है. गौरतलब है कि इन योजनाओं से शहरी और ग्रामीण इलाके के गरीबों को खास लाभ हुआ है. इससे आर्थिक रुप से कमजोर लोग भी सम्मान के साथ समाज में जीवन यापन कर सकते हैं.
योजना के लिए पात्रता
कन्या के माता या पिता बिहार के निवासी हों.
विवाह के समय वधू की उम्र कम से कम 18 वर्ष और वर की उम्र कम से कम 21 वर्ष हो.
पुनर्विवाह का मामला न हो, विवाह अधिनियमों के अंतर्गत वैध पुनर्विवाह के मामलों में यह अनुदान देय होगा.
विधवा विवाह को पुनर्विवाह नहीं माना जायेगा.
विवाह का विधिवत निबंधन कराया गया हो.
दहेज नहीं देने की घोषणा की गयी हो.
