अतिथियों का स्वागत करते हुए प्राचार्य प्रो ओमप्रकाश राय ने अपने संबोधन में छात्रों से कहा नौकरी चाहने वाले नहीं, नौकरी प्रदाता बनें. उन्होंने कहा विगत वर्षो में एक अच्छे आइडिया, टेक्नोलॉजी के सही प्रयोग और कड़ी मेहनत के बल पर देश की कई स्टार्टअप कंपनिया देश विदेश में उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन कर रही है तथा हजारों लोगों को रोजगार दे रही है. ग्रोथ की जितनी संभावना उद्यमिता के क्षेत्र में है उतनी किसी भी नौकरी में नही है.
प्रो राय ने कहा कि कॉलेज अपने छात्रों के उद्यमिता कौशल विकास और संबंधित सरकारी योजनाओं की जानकारी प्रदान करने के लिए समय समय पर विभिन्न सरकारी विभागो के सहयोग से सेमिनार, व्याख्यान वर्कशॉप आदि का आयोजन करता है, उसी कड़ी में ये व्याख्यान आयोजित किया गया है. सीआइएमपी के निदेशक प्रो राणा सिंह ने अपने संबोधन में उद्यमिता के क्षेत्र में उपलब्ध कैरियर अवसर की विस्तार से चर्चा करते हुए स्टार्टअप और उद्यमिता विकास के लिए सरकार द्वारा चलाए जा रहे विभिन्न योजनाओं और प्रयासों के बारे में बताया.
उन्होंने कहा की सीआईएमपी के पीजीडीएम प्रोग्राम के छात्रों के लिए सरकार द्वारा स्कॉलरशिप देने का भी प्रावधान है. सीईओ श्री कुमोद कुमार ने सीआईएमपी द्वारा चलाए जा रहे प्रोग्राम और उसने नामांकन प्रक्रिया के बारे में बताते हुए कहा कि सीआईएमपी की एनआईआरएफ रैंकिंग कुछ आईआईएम से भी बेहतर है. इससे पहले अतिथियों ने प्राचार्य प्रो राय के साथ कॉलेज परिसर स्थित महापुरुषों की प्रतिमा पर माल्यार्पण कर उनको नमन किया.
