मुजफ्फरपुर, बीआरए बिहार विश्वविद्यालय के खासकर अंगीभूत कॉलेजो में स्मार्ट क्लास के नाम पर लाखों रुपये खर्च किए गए। बात करें तो अकेले मुजफ्फरपुर मुख्यालय के प्रमुख 10 कालेजो में स्मार्ट क्लास रूम है। लेकिन उसका उपयोग नहीं दिख रहा। लॉकडाउन की अवधि में इसके उपयोग से छात्रों को लाभ देने के लिए कोई पहल ही नहीं कि गई। एलएस कॉलेज में चार स्मार्ट कक्षाएं हैं तो आरडीएस, एमडीडीएम, आरबीबीएम, नीतीश्वर कालेज, एमपीएस साइंस कॉलेज, एमएसकेबी व लोहिया कॉलेज में स्मार्ट कक्षा उपलब्ध है। इन कालेजों में अधिकतर छात्र-छात्राएं ग्रामीण इलाके के कॉलेजों से आते हैं। जहां इंटरनेट की समस्या होती है।
यदि ऑनलाइन क्लास चला भी तो वे इसमे शामिल नहीं हो पाते।

आरडीएस कालेज के स्नातक के छात्र राजीव रंजन ने बताया कि कांटी के सुदूर गांव में रहने के कारण वहां इंटरनेट की समस्या होती है। ऐसे में पढ़ाई में परेशानी होती है। विषय सम्बन्धित वीडियो यदि वेबसाइट पर मिलता तो लाभ होता। पर कॉलेज में सिर्फ नाम के लिए ही स्मार्ट क्लास है। वहीं, एलएस कालेज के छात्र रोहित, पप्पू, एमडीडीएम की छात्रा पूजा सिंह, पायल ने भी स्मार्ट क्लास से फायदा नहीं मिलने की बात कही। इसपर एलएस कॉलेज के प्राचार्य डॉ. ओपी राय ने कहा कि कॉलेज में विशेष स्मार्ट क्लास उपलब्ध है।
शिक्षकों को कहा गया है कि वे इसका सदुपयोग कर वीडियो लेक्चर तैयार कर वेबसाइट पर अपलोड करें। बताया कि इस कार्य के लिए तकनीकी जानकारी का अभाव होने के कारण शिक्षकों को परेशानी होती है। वहीं अन्य कॉलेज के शिक्षकों का कहना है कि कॉलेज की ओर से पहले ऑनलाइन स्टडी के लिए प्रशिक्षण दिया जाना चाहिए। ताकि शिक्षक पढ़ाने के साथ ही उसे ऑनलाइन विद्यार्थियों तक पहुंचाया जा सके।
