मुजफ्फरपुर :-सिविल कोर्ट मुजफ्फरपुर के अधिवक्ता अमर कुमार झा को गुरुवार को अज्ञात बदमाशों ने गोली मार दी, खबर फ़ैलते ही पूरे शहर में सनसनी फैल गई। गंभीर रूप से घायल अधिवक्ता को तुरंत अस्पताल ले जाया गया, जहाँ उनका ईलाज अभी चल रहा है।
मामले के सम्बन्ध में एडवोकेट्स एसोसिएशन के सहायक सचिव सह मानवाधिकार अधिवक्ता एस. के. झा ने चिंता जताते हुए कहा कि अगर अधिवक्ता ही सुरक्षित नहीं, तो शहर किसी के लिए भी सुरक्षित नहीं है, क्योंकि अगर अधिवक्ता ही सुरक्षित नहीं होंगे, तों न्याय के लिए संघर्ष कौन करेगा? जब भी ऐसी कोई घटना घटती है तो अधिवक्ताओं की सुरक्षा हेतु अधिनियम बनाने की माँग काफी जोर-शोर से उठती है, लेकिन कुछ समय बीतते ही सभी इसे भुलाकर अपने काम में लग जाते हैं। ऐसे में तो न यह विचार मूर्त रूप ले सकेगा और न ही अधिवक्ताओं की सुरक्षा हेतु अधिनियम कभी बन पायेगी।
मानवाधिकार अधिवक्ता एस. के. झा ने कहा कि अब इस मुद्दे पर व्यापक आंदोलन की जरूरत है, उन्होंने अधिवक्ताओं की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित हो सके, इसके लिए सरकार से माँग की है और अधिवक्ता अमर कुमार झा पर हमला करने वाले हमलावरों को अविलम्ब गिरफ्तार कर जेल भेजने की माँग की हैं।
वरीय अधिवक्ता रामशरण सिंह, वीरेन्द्र कुमार लाल, विजय कुमार शाही, श्रीनिवास शर्मा, भोलेनाथ वर्मा, मुकेश ठाकुर, अशोक कुमार सिंह, प्रमोद ठाकुर, ब्रजेश कुमार, संगीता कुमारी, नेहा कुमारी, कवि कुमार, रामसरोज सिंह, अजय कुमार और कबीर राज ने अधिवक्ता पर हुए हमले की कड़ी निंदा की है और जिला प्रशासन से अविलम्ब कार्रवाई की माँग की है।
