हाल में शुरू हुई मुख्यमंत्री युवा व महिला उद्यमी योजना के तहत मुजफ्फरपुर के चार सौ युवा लाभान्वित होंगे। वे खुद का उद्योग-धंधा शुरू कर सकेंगे। इसके लिए उद्योग विभाग ने जिले के लिए लक्ष्य निर्धारित किया है। नई योजना के तहत सामान्य वर्ग के दो सौ युवाओं व दो सौ महिलाओं को उद्योग-धंधे के लिए दस-दस लाख रुपये आवंटित किए जाएंगे। इसमें पांच लाख रुपये अनुदान के रूप में दिए जाएंगे।
शेष पांच लाख रुपये किस्तों में वसूल किए जाएंगे। वित्तीय वर्ष 2021-22 के लिए लक्ष्य निर्धारण के बाद युवाओं ने उद्योग विभाग के पोर्टल पर आवेदन शुरू कर दिया है। उद्योग विभाग ने दोनों योजनाओं के लिए 400 करोड़ रुपये के बजट की व्यवस्था की है। योजना से जुड़ने के लिए न्यूनतम शैक्षणिक योग्यता इंटर व उम्र 18 से लेकर 50 साल निर्धारित की गई है।
प्राप्त आवेदन 15 दिनों में राज्य स्तरीय चयन समिति को भेजी जाएगी। इसके बाद जिला उद्योग केंद्र के माध्यम से आवेदनों का भौतिक सत्यापन किया जाएगा। भौतिक सत्यापन में सही पाए जाने पर आवेदक को 15 दिनों की ट्रेनिंग दी जाएगी। इस दौरान डीपीआर भी तैयार कर लेनी होगी। योजना के तहत मिली प्रथम किस्त की राशि तीस दिनों में खर्च कर जिला उद्योग केंद्र को सूचित करनी होगी।
