मुजफ्फरपुर, कोरोना के बढ़ते प्रकोप के मद्देनज़र गरीबनाथ मंदिर न्यास समिति के और से लिया गया है निर्णय की इस बार सावन मे मंदिर का द्वार भक्तो के लिए रहेगा बंद. सावन में पहली बार श्रद्धालु बाबा गरीब नाथ का जलाभिषेक नहीं कर पाएंगे. बल्कि 1 जुलाई से ही पूरे सावन माह मंदिर का मुख द्वारा बंद रहेगा. सिर्फ पुजारी ही पूजा-अर्चना व बाबा का श्रृंगार करेंगे. बाहरी श्रद्धालुओं का प्रवेश वर्जित रहेगा.
मंदिर परिसर में शनिवार को न्यास समिति के वरीय सदस्य अखिलेश्वर प्रसाद शुक्ला की अध्यक्षता में एक बैठक हुई। बैठक में सर्वसम्मति से निर्णय लिया गया कि कोरोना के बढ़ते हुए संक्रमण के कारण इस बार श्रावणी महोत्सव का आयोजन नहीं किया जाएगा। एक जुलाई से अगले आदेश तक मंदिर पूर्णत: बंद रहेगा। हालांकि पुजारी परिवार की ओर से भगवान का भोग, आरती पूर्व की तरह से चलता रहेगा. न्यास समिति ने भगवान गरीबनाथ से प्रार्थना की है कि शीघ्र इस वैश्विक महासंकट से संसार को मुक्ति मिले। इस बैठक में समिति के सचिव एनके सिन्हा, कोषाध्यक्ष पुरेंद्र प्रसाद ,न्यासी डॉ सुरेंद्र कुमार, सुरेश चौहान, गोपाल फलक,संजय पंकज आदि उपस्थित थे।
सुबह चार बजे, दोपहर दो बजे, रात आठ बजे बाबा गरीबनाथ की पारंपरिक तरीके से पुजारी द्वारा पूजा व आरती होती रहेगी।
