पटना. बिहार वासियों के लिए अच्छी खबर है. अब पटना से हाजीपुर रूट पर जाने के लिए जाम का सामना नहीं करना पड़ेगा. गांधी सेतु के दूसरे लेन का 7 जून को उद्घाटन किया जाएगा. इसके लिए केंद्रीय सड़क एवं परिवहन मंत्री नितिन गडकरी मंगलवार को बिहार के दौरे पर आएंगे. बिहार के पथ निर्माण मंत्री नितिन नवीन ने सोमवार को इसकी जानकारी दी. उन्होंने बताया कि इस मौके पर तकरीबन ₹13,585 करोड़ की लागत वाली 15 परियोजनाओं का उद्घाटन किया जाएगा. गांधी सेतु मरम्मतीकरण के लिए महीनों से बंद है. फिलहाल एक लेन से ही वाहनों का आवागमन होता है, ऐसे में गाड़ियों का दबाव काफी ज्यादा रहता है. दूसरे लेन के शुरू होने से यात्रियों को काफी सुविधा मिलने की उम्मीद है.
बिहार के पथ निर्माण मंत्री नितिन नवीन और अपर मुख्य सचिव प्रत्यय अमृत सोमवार को गांधी सेतु के दूसरे लेन के उद्घाटन को लेकर बड़ी जानकारी दी. मंत्री नितिन नवीन ने बताया कि केंद्रीय मंत्री नितिन गडकरी मंगवार सुबह तकरीबन 10:30 बजे पटना पहुंचेंगे. पटना में लैंड करने के बाद नितिन गडकरी सीधे सीएम हाउस जाएंगे और मुख्यमंत्री नीतीश कुमार से मुलाकात करेंगे. उन्होंने बताया कि मंगलवार को ₹13,585 करोड़ की लागत वाली 15 परियोजनाओं का उद्घाटन और शिलान्यास किया जाएगा. इसको लेकर हाजीपुर में खास कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया जाएगा. इसमें केंद्रीय मंत्री नितिन गडकरी के साथ मुख्यमंत्री नीतीश कुमार भी मौजूद रहेंगे.
₹1800 करोड़ की लागत से बना है सुपर स्ट्रक्चर
गांधी के सेतु का सुपर स्ट्रक्चर काफी आधुनिक है. इसके निर्माण पर तकरीबन ₹1800 करोड़ की लागत से बना है. नितिन गडकरी बिहार यात्रा के दौरान 9 परियोजनाओं का शिलान्यास करेंगे. इसके अलावा कई परियोजनाओं का उद्घाटन भी करेंगे. जिन परियोजनाओं का शिलान्यास किया जाएगा, उनके लिए 70 से 80 फीसद जमीन का अधिग्रहण का काम पूरा हो चुका है. नितिन नवीन ने इस मौके पर बताया कि जेपी गंगा पथ और मीठापुर ब्रिज का उद्घाटन इसी महीने किया जाएगा. बिहार के मंत्री ने बताया कि हाजीपुर-छपरा का काम जल्द से जल्द पूरा करने के लिए केंद्र से बातचीत चल रही है.
जाम से मिलेगी मुक्ति
गांधी सेतु का दूसरा लेन खुलने के साथ ही लोगों को जाम की समस्या से निजात मिल सकती है. फिलहाल एक लेन ही चालू होने के कारण वाहनों की लंबी कतार लगी रहती है. इससे यात्रियों के साथ ही मालवाहक वाहनों को भी दूरी तय करने में देरी होती है. बता दें कि गांधी सेतु को दुरुस्त करने का काम महीनों से चल रहा है. पुल की स्थिति को देखने के बाद इसे दुरुस्त करने का फैसला किया गया था.
