मुजफ्फरपुर। प्रतिबंधित सिगल यूज प्लास्टिक, थर्मोकोल एवं पालीथिन की बिक्री, भंडारण एवं उपयोग करने वालों के खिलाफ जिला, पुलिस एवं निगम प्रशासन की संयुक्त टीम ने बुधवार को ताबड़तोड़ छापेमारी की। शाम छह बजे से आठ बजे तक एक साथ पूरे शहर में छापेमारी की गई। 16 टीमों के 48 सदस्य शहर के अलग-अलग इलाके में करीब पांच सौ दुकानों पर धावा बोला। इस दौरान दो सौ दुकानों को प्रतिबंधित प्लास्टिक से बने सामान की बिक्री एवं पालीथिन का उपयोग करते पकड़ा। उनसे करीब दो लाख रुपये जुर्माना वसूला गया। 50 किलो ग्राम सामग्री जब्त की गई। छापेमारी टीम में एक दंडाधिकारी, एक पुलिस पदाधिकारी एवं नगर निगम के एक तहसीलदार को रखा गया था।

विदित हो कि दैनिक जागरण ने मंगलवार को ‘कागज पर प्रतिबंध, हर तरफ दिख रही पालीथिन’ शीर्षक से खबर का प्रकाशन किया था। इसके बाद प्रशासन ने बड़े पैमाने यह कार्रवाई की है।

गठित टीम एवं छापेमारी के आदेश को गोपनीय रखा गया था। संध्या पांच बचे टीम में शामिल लोगों को जिला एवं पुलिस प्रशासन द्वारा जारी संयुक्त आदेश की जानकारी दी गई। टीम ने अपने-अपने इलाके में जैसे ही छापेमारी की दुकानदारों में हड़कंप मच गया। दुकानदार प्रतिबंधित प्लास्टिक निर्मित सामान एवं पालीथिन को छिपाने लगे। इन इलाकों में की गई छापेमारी लक्ष्मी चौक, स्टेशन रोड, बनारस बैंक चौक, नीम चौक, पावर हाउस चौक, पंकज मार्केट, मोतीझील, सुतापट्टी, चंद्रलोक चौक, सिकंदरपुर, आरडीएस कालेज रोड, अखाड़ाघाट, भगवानपुर चौक, गोबरसही, बैरिया बस स्टैंड एवं गोशाला रोड।

पहली जुलाई से प्रतिबंधित है सिगल यूज प्लास्टिक पर्यावरण, वन एवं जलवायु परिवर्तन विभाग द्वारा अधिसूचना जारी कर पहली जुलाई से संपूर्ण राज्य में सिगल यूज प्लास्टिक, थर्मोकोल एवं पालीथिन के विनिर्माण, आयात, भंडारण, वितरण, बिक्री एवं उपयोग पर प्रतिबंध लगाया गया है। जिन सामग्री पर प्रतिबंधित लगाया गया है उनमें प्लास्टिक स्टिक युक्त ईयर बड्स, गुब्बारों के लिए प्लास्टिक की डंडिया, प्लास्टिक के झंडे, कैंडी स्टिक, आइस्क्रीम की डंडिया, थर्मोकोल के सजावटी समान, प्लेट, कप, ग्लास, कांटे, चम्मच, चाकू, स्ट्रा, ट्रे जैसे कटलरी, मिठाई के डब्बे, निमंत्रण कार्ड, सिगरेट पैकेट के इर्द-गिर्द लपेटने या पैक करने वाली फिल्में, सौ माईक्रोन से कम मोटाई वाले प्लास्टिक या पीवीसी बैनर शामिल हैं।
