मुजफ्फरपुर, जिले के अहियापुर थाना क्षेत्र के बड़ा जगन्नाथ धर्म कांटा के पास सोमवार को एक यात्री बस धू-धू कर जल गई. आग लगने पर यात्रीयों मे हाहाकार मच गया. लोग कूद कर अपनी जान बचाने को भागने लगे. स्थानीय लोगो ने भी मदद कर यात्रियों को बस से बाहर निकाला. शुक्र है की इस घटना मे कोई यात्री हटाहत नहीं हुआ।

मिली जानकारी के अनुसार सोमवार की दोपहर शिव गंगा ट्रेवल्स की बस बैरिया बस स्टैंड से यात्रियों को लेकर दरभंगा जा रही थी. इसी दौरान अहियापुर थाना इलाके के बड़ा जगन्नाथ धर्म कांटा के समीप अचानक बस मे आग लग गई. आग लगने पर यात्री बस से कूद कर भागने लगे. कुछ ही मिनटो मे तेज धमाकों के साथ पूरी बस जलकर खाक हो गई.
सूचना मिलने पर फायर बिग्रेड की गाड़ी वहा पहुंची. काफ़ी मशक्कत के बाद आग पर काबू पाया गया. तब तक पूरी बस जलकर खाक हो गई. वही पुलिस की टीम भी मौके पर पहुंच कर जाँच पड़ताल मे जुट गई है. बताया जा रहा है की बस की छत पर पटाखा लोड किया हुआ था. और उसी पटाखों मे आग लगने से बस जलकर खाक हो गई है।
