माननीय उच्च न्यायालय पटना के न्यायमूर्ति सत्यव्रत वर्मा ने प्रधान जिला एवं सत्र न्यायाधीश मनोज कुमार सिंह के साथ शहीद खुदीराम बोस, केन्द्रीय कारा, मुजफ्फरपुर का निरीक्षण किया। निरीक्षण के समय सत्य प्रकाश शुक्ला, अपर जिला एवं सत्र न्यायाधीश प्रवीण कुमार सिंह, अपर जिला एवं सत्र न्यायाधीश पंकज कुमार लाल, Sub: Judge-com ACJM संदीप कुमार अन्य न्यायाधीश भी उपस्थित थे ।
सर्वप्रथम न्यायमूर्ति सत्यव्रत वर्मा द्वारा 198 बंदी क्षमता वाले नये कैदी बैरक का उद्घाटन किया गया तत्पश्चात कारा विद्यालय के निरीक्षण के क्रम में कारा में संसीमित 35 बंदियों को Cent RSETI द्वारा 10 दिवसीय मुर्गी पालन कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ न्यायमूर्ति द्वारा दीप प्रज्जवलित कर किया गया साथ ही इस कारा में संसीमित बंदियों 1. धर्मेन्द्र सहनी 2. रामउग्रह पासवान 3. मो० साहिल 4. शिवशंकर सिंह 5. बब्लू सहनी 6. भुषण कुमार 7. धन्यश्याम सिंह 8 गुरप्रीत सिंह को NIOS एवं 1. कुमार निक्की रंजन 2. प्रिंस कुमार 3. राकेश कुमार द्विवेदी एवं अन्य को IGNOU द्वारा 10वीं, PGDDM एवं CDM का कोर्स पूर्णता का प्रमाण-पत्र न्यायमूर्ति सत्यव्रत वर्मा द्वारा वितरित किया गया।
इसके पूर्व RSETI द्वारा इस कारा के 34 बंदियों को दिये गये बकरी पालन प्रशिक्षण से संबंधित प्रमाण-पत्र का वितरण न्यायमुर्ति सत्यव्रत वर्मा द्वारा किया गया। प्रशिक्षण का उक्त कार्यक्रम Cent RSETI मुजफ्फरपुर के सहयोग से किया गया। तत्पश्चात शहीद खुदीराम बोस के शहीदी स्थल पर भी मालयार्पण किया गया। इसके बाद कारा के महिला खण्ड में संसीमित महिला बंदियों से मिलकर कारा प्रशासन के द्वारा दिय जा रहे सुविधाओं का जायजा लिया एवं उनकी समस्याओं को सुना।
तत्पश्चात कारा निर्माणशाला में तैयार किए जा रहे सामग्रियों का निरीक्षण किया एवं बंदियों के मनोरंजन के लिए कारा में अधिष्ठापित रेडियों तरंग का भी निरीक्षण किया गया। निरीक्षण के उपरान्त न्यायमुर्ति सत्यव्रत वर्मा कारा में संसीमित बंदियो को NIOS तथा IGNOU द्वारा दिये जा रहे शैक्षणिक कार्यक्रम एवं विभिन्न व्यवसायिक प्रशिक्षण समेत कारा के विकास हेतु सतत् प्रयासरत रहने का निदेश दिया गया एवं शहीदी स्थल से जुड़े सेल को भी संरक्षित किये जाने को निदेश दिया गया।
