मुजफ्फरपुर, सदर थाना के पताही विश्वनाथ निवासी खिलौना दुकानदार नवीन कुमार को रंगदारी नहीं देने पर कुछ लोगों ने मारपीट की। इसके बाद थूक चटवाया। सदर अस्पताल में इलाज कराने के बाद उन्होंने पुलिस में शिकायत दर्ज कराते हुए सदर थाने के मधुबनी निवासी अमित कुमार समेत अन्य को आरोपित किया है। पीडि़त ने कहा है कि 14 अक्टूबर की रात सभी आरोपित पताही चौक स्थित उनकी दुकान पर पहुंचे। गाली देते हुए 50 हजार की रंगदारी की मांग की।

राशि नहीं देने पर सभी आरोपितों ने गोली मारने व दुकान जला देने की धमकी दी। इसका विरोध करने पर आरोपितों ने जाति सूचक शब्दों का इस्तेमाल करते हुए मारपीट की। दुकान के काउंटर व पाकेट से 20 हजार रुपये ले लिए। इसके दूसरे दिन सुबह में नवीन घर से दुकान जा रहे थे। इसी क्रम में पताही मध्य विद्यालय के समीप पूर्व से घात लगाए आरोपितों ने उनका रास्ता रोक लिया। गाली देते हुए मारपीट की और पास में रखे गए रुपये व मोबाइल मांगा। विरोध करने पर जान मार देने की धमकी देने लगे। इसके बाद आरोपितों ने नवीन के पास से नकदी व मोबाइल ले लिया। सदर पुलिस का कहना है कि सभी बिंदुओं पर जांच कर गुत्थी सुलझाई जा रही है।

तीन दिनों से कारोबारी लापता, जांच में जुटी पुलिस

मुजफ्फरपुर। काजीमोहम्मदपुर थाना क्षेत्र के कलमबाग रोड निवासी कारोबारी रोहित राही तीन दिनों से लापता है। खोजबीन में कोई पता नहीं चलने से स्वजन काफी परेशान हैं। मामले में उनकी बहन आरती आर्या ने काजीमोहम्मदपुर थाने में शिकायत दर्ज कराई है। शिकायत की पुलिस जांच कर रही है। आवेदन में पुलिस को बताया गया कि 13 अक्टूबर को करीब साढ़े सात बजे शाम में 10 मिनट में वापस आने की बात बोलकर कारोबारी घर से निकले। इसके बाद वह लौटकर घर नहीं आए। तब स्वजन परेशान हो गए। खोजबीन की गई। कोई पता नहीं चला। उनका मोबाइल बंद बताने लगा। पुलिस पूछताछ में पता चला कि रोहित अविवाहित है। हाल ही में कांटी इलाके में रेडीमेड कपड़े की दुकान खोली है। पुलिस का कहना है कि मोबाइल का काल डिटेल्स का अवलोकन किया जा रहा है।
