पटना के लोगों का लंबा इंतजार खत्म होने वाला है. गंगा पथ एक्सप्रेस-वे का 5.4 किलोमीटर का निर्माण कार्य 90 प्रतिशत पूरा हो चुका है. बता दें की लोकनायक जेपी गंगा पथ एक्सप्रेस-वे पर वाहनों का परिचालन 30 मई से शुरू हो जाएगा. इस दिन मुख्यमंत्री नीतीश कुमार इस गंगा पथ एक्सप्रेस-वे का उद्घाटन करेंगे. शेष 10 प्रतिशत काम भी अगले 15 दिनों में पूरा कर लिया जाएगा. इसके बाद शहरवासी सिर्फ 5 मिनट में दीघा से गांधी मैदान तक का सफर पूरा किया जा सकेगा.
10 मई से शुरू होगा परिचालन
इस गंगा पथ एक्सप्रेस-वे पर वाहनों के परिचालन का ट्रायल 10 मई से ही शुरू हो जाएगा. बता दें कि, एएन सिन्हा इंस्टीट्यूट परिसर के पश्चिमी किनारे से एक्सप्रेस-वे का अप्रोच रोड पटना आयुक्त कार्यालय के सामने अशोक राजपथ से मिल रहा है.
कोरोना से प्रोजेक्ट में देरी
इस बारे में बिहार राज्य सड़क विकास प्राधिकरण (बीएसआरडीसी) के अधिकारियों ने बताया कि, कोरोना काल में काम प्रभावित होने की वजह से प्रोजेक्ट में देरी हुई है. दो साल कुछ-कुछ महीने संपूर्ण लॉकडाउन लगने के कारण काम प्रभावित हुआ था. हालांकि हाल के महीनों में काम को तेजी से पूरा करवाया गया है.
50 हजार पेड़ लगाए जाएंगे
जेपी सेतु के 150 मीटर पूरब में 50 मीटर का गोलंबर बनाया जा रहा है. इस गोलंबर पर दीघा रोटरी, अटल पथ, एक्सप्रेस-वे के दोनों ओर 5-5 मीटर चौड़ाई में 50 हजार पेड़ लगाए जाएंगे. इतना ही नहीं एक्सप्रेस-वे के उत्तर गंगा किनारे की ओर से 5 मीटर चौड़ा पाथ-वे बनाया जाएगा. इस पर सुबह में क्षेत्र के लोग टहल सकेंगे.
रेलवे द्वारा गाइड बांध बनाया गया
फिलहाल इस क्षेत्र में स्ट्रीट लाइट लगाने के लिए टेस्टिंग का काम हो रहा है. दीघा रोटरी व जेपी सेतु के बीच रेलवे द्वारा गाइड बांध बनाया गया है. यहां जाली में पत्थर के बोल्डर हटाने के लिए बीएसआरडीसी ने रेलवे से अनुमति मांगी है.
