कर्नाटक से शुरू हुआ हिजाब विवाद(Hijab row) अब बिहार भी पहुंच चुका है. मामला बेगूसराय जिले का है जहां के सांसद भाजपा के कद्दावर व फायरब्रांड नेता गिरिराज सिंह हैं. एक वीडियो सोशल मीडिया पर तेजी से वायरल हुआ जिसमें एक बैंककर्मी लड़की को हिजाब हटाने की सलाह देता है और लड़की उससे उलझ जाती है. इस मामले ने राजनीतिक रंग भी पकड़ लिया. जिसके बाद बैंक के तरफ से सफाई सामने आयी है.
सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल हुआ एक वीडियो नेता प्रतिपक्ष तेजस्वी यादव ने भी शेयर किया था. इस वीडियो में बैंक के अंदर एक महिला से बैंककर्मियों की बहस होती है. महिला बैंक में पैसे निकासी के लिये जाती है लेकिन बैंककर्मी उसे हिजाब उतारने के लिए कहता है जिसके बाद महिला और उसके पिता वहां पर गुस्से में आगबबूला होते हैं. महिला ने पूरा वाक्या मोबाइल में रिकॉर्ड किया.
वीडियो सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल हुआ तो तेजस्वी यादव ने इस मामले को उठाते हुए सरकार पर हमला बोला और दोषी के गिरफ्तारी की मांग की. इस मामले ने तूल पकड़ा तो अब बैंक के तरफ से भी सफाई आयी है. वाक्या बेगूसराय के मंसूरचक प्रखंड के यूको बैंक का बताया जाता है और ये वीडियो कुछ समय पहले का बताया जा रहा है.

मीडिया रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, इस पूरे मामले को लेकर संबंधित बैंक के अधिकारी ने भी सफाई दी है और कहा है कि किसी खास द्वेष और पूर्वाग्रह को लेकर हिजाब हटाने के लिए नहीं कहा गया था. बताया कि लड़की के सिग्नेचर का मिलान सही से नहीं हो पा रहा था. इसके कारण लड़की के चेहरे से मिलान कराने के लिए हिजाब हटाने की बात कही गयी थी लेकिन इसे गलत तरीके से पेश कर हंगामा किया गया.
